The Dream Development Project

The 5 Stages of The DDP

Stage One – Hope for a Better Future
At this stage, we work to inspire the student to see the hope that their future holds. They learn to use the WHELHO system to develop themselves personally, and to begin clarifying where they are at, where they want to be, and structure for how to get there.

Stage Two – Target Acquisition
We empower the student with the wisdom to clarify their dream. They will learn how to develop a life plan and begin the process. The student is trained how to develop a life plan, and in this stage, completes this process.

Stage Three – Build Your Dream
Once the student has graduated from stage three, their POD is created. A POD is their team consisting of expert advisors (acting as the advisory board for your 10 year plan), boots on the ground mentors (holding the student accountable), and a select community of support (providing ongoing encouragement). With the support of their POD, the student takes their first steps in faith to build their dream.

Stage Four – Live Your Dream
At some defined point in their life plan, the student will courageously transition from building to living their dream. As an example, if your dream is to become a Doctor, you may define that point as when you graduate from medical school. Another example, if your dream is to build a business, you may define that transition point as when you earn your first dollar. In any case, the student’s POD will continue to be available to help as needed.

Stage Five – Create a Legacy that Lives Beyond You
Not to many people ever reach this level of success, however, helping others beyond your limited reach is still the ultimate goal. Within the student’s life plan, is a way to create from their dream, a legacy that lives beyond them.

Long-Term Mentorship

We know we can never replace a parent. Our goal has been to develop a program that mimics the dreams every parent has for their children. We inspire them, train them, open doors for them, and support through the development of their dreams.

We make a 10 year commitment to DDP students. Any Heroes Kid between the ages of 13-30 can apply to begin their journey.
